Update 08/04/2021 - Early next week (week of 12-04-2021), this event will be confirmed or not by the commune of Houffalize.

1st stage: Start with the Trail des Coccinelles 20km on saturday. Go hard, go fast, but hold some energy for the 2nd stage!
2nd stage: make sure your batteries are loaded for the Houffa Trail (23km or 53km) on Sunday!
Competition distance is 20km + 53km.
The KIDS Trail on Saturday can unfortunately not take place this year.
The race is very varied. Single tracks, larger forest trail, steep climbs and technical descends! All of this, in a beautiful setting!
Some of the courses has even a (safe) river crossing! Check it out on the race courses below.

Despite the current Covid measures we have, in consultation with the municipality of Houffalize, succeeded in offering an alternative concept so that the Scott Xtrails can take place. To ensure that this can take place in a Covid safe situation for everyone the following measures have been taken.
The event will continue according to the free start principle.
If an event cannot take place due to a resurgence of COVID-19, participants will receive a voucher (credits) worth 40% of the registration fee. Thanks to an extra option at your registration, this amount can be increased to 100%. The voucher (credits) are valid for 1 year, are not personal and can be used on all Sportevents events. Not included in the voucher are: ACTI+ insurance, administration costs and donations. This voucher is only given if an event cannot take place because of COVID-19. For individual cases (infected with COVID-19 or travel restriction) our general cancellation conditions always apply.

Ol foss d'Outh 1, 6660 Houffalize.
There is a large parking lot close to the start/finish.
When the parking is full, the road to the hotel will be closed.
You'll have to park your car in the centre of Houffalize.

Bib numbers will be sent to your home adress You will receive the bib number(s) a few days before the event.
If you register more than one participant, the bib numbers will be sent to the address of the account holder. Make sure the address in your account is correct and complete.
You can get all extras you ordered (such as a T-shirt, Scarff® or a foldable cup) on site at the race office. It is possible to pick up the numbers of your family and/or friends. You must report all last minute changes in distance to the secretariat.
Unless you received an e-mail saying that this was not possible due to the current measures. In that case, you must set these options to "NO" in your account by changing your registration.
Other modifications can also be made yourself via your personal account up until the day before the event. Quick, easy and avoid queues !
Changing your distance, buying a T-shirt, adapting your data and even canceling it can ONLY be done through your Larssie account. So you do this all by yourself!
After you have logged in, search for the relevant order and change the details. If your new data results in a lower cost price, your account will be credited and you can use that amount for another registration. If your new information leads to a higher registration price, you still have to pay that amount to complete the change.
If you wish to cancel, your account will be credited in accordance with our cancellation conditions. You can then spend this amount on another registration later.
Attention: Please check the conditions of the organizer to find out until when you can cancel and how much your account will be credited !
By default you are NOT insured through the organization for physical injuries during the race. You can choose to take an insurance through the organizer when you register. This is an additional paying option.
The organization supports the charity THINK PINK, the national breast cancer campaign. With your registration you can make a donation.
A selection of photos can be found a few days after the event on our Facebook page. This can be viewed by anyone, including those who do NOT have a Facebook account.
During the event, the Sportograf team will be present to take the most beautiful photos of you in action. You can find your personal photos via the link below or by clicking on the icon behind your name in the results list.

There is no mass start.
Taking into account the current Corona measures, the free start principle applies to any distance. You always have a specific time slot you need to respect.
Your time only starts to run the moment you cross the starting line.
If you decide to run a different distance on the day itself, you must inform the race office in advance.

There will be no prizes for the winners.

Attention, taking into account the current Corona measures, many aid stations are no longer available and they’re very limited.
You will receive a race briefing a few days before the event, clearly indicating how the aid stations are handled and what is expected to be done to comply with the regulations.

As soon as the situation has stabilised and events are allowed again, a new date will be set and you will be informed.
