Ecomusée du Viroin
The museum is an illustration of the technological know-how of village communities, but also a mirror of cultural and social changes that have passed throught the region of Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse for two centuries.
Through scientific research, the valorization of a vast collection (tools, furniture, agricultural machinery, posters ...), events, educational animations, it is a whole knowledge and a whole history which are transmitted and share. Anchored in its time, the Ecomuseum of the Viroin also works to enhance current thinking on rurality and the notion of ecological transition.
